Dr. Peng completed her medical degree and her 5 year residency in ophthalmology at McGill University.
She has returned from a fellowship at the Massachusette Eye and Ear Infirmary and Boston Laser with a fellowship in cornea external diseases and refractive surgery. Dr. Peng will be accepting patients at all three Clarity Eye sites for comprehensive ophthalmology, cataract and pterygiums surgeries starting September 11, 2017.
Dr. Peng’s training included performing numerous procedures such as corneal transplants ( penetrating kertoplasty, DALK, Kpro ,DSAEK, and DMEK), pterygiums, femtosecond cataract and refractive procedures.
She is devoted to providing excellent care for her patients and is actively involved in community services. Her most recent mission this year was in the Dominican Republic to perform complex cornea transplants for the underprivileged. She was the first surgeon to perform DMEK at the Elias Santana Hospital in Santo Domingo.
She is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada (FRCSC), a member of the Canadian Ophthalmology Society and the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
Dr. Peng is fluent in English, French and Mandarin.
